The Glam Room Re-Opening Event!

Dear valued guests,

We are excited to announce that Saturday, May 16th, we plan to re-open. We have been working for weeks to deep clean and redesign the salon for the safety of our guests and team.  We will be allowing for a 6-foot space between our work areas. We feel confident coming back to work in our personal protection equipment to accommodate the standard industry sanitation protocols we have always done, as well as the additional strict guidelines for safety and health measures are given to us from Missouri and the State licensing cosmetology and barbering board along with the CDC.

Here is information on the changes we will be making! We are eliminating magazines and have closed the common areas, as well as our beverage/refreshment areas, and are requiring our team to wear masks and shields, and we will be thoroughly sanitizing workspaces between every single guest, and much more! We have expanded our hours and adjusted our team’s schedules to limit the number of people in the salon at one time. Each service provider will only take one guest at a time. We will be open Sunday – Monday from 6 am to 12 midnight.

The only shampoos that will be allowed are hair color services and we will provide a clean towel for you to place over your face for extra safety during the shampoo. Blow drying is not allowed at this time to prevent blowing particles into the air. We are asking everyone to come into the salon with clean hair and stylists will be doing dry cutting only. We will be thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting EVERYTHING in the salon between clients. As extra protection, all The Glam Room Salon and Spa staff have passed the Barbicide Sanitation Training and Covid-19 Sanitation Training.

To schedule an appointment – it has been many weeks since we have seen you and perhaps you trimmed your hair or added a bit of color to it and we need to make sure we reserve enough time to take care of you.  We now offer Virtual Consultations for you to reserve an appointment for before we schedule your salon or spa appointment.

Reserve your Virtual Consultation

Following your consultation, you can call our guest services team 816- 605-1949 to schedule your appointment for the services you and your service provider spoke about.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment and text us at this number 816-542-3706 to let us know you have arrived for your appointment and to complete your Glam Room Salon and Spa Covid-19 Safety Questionnaire. We will text you when your service provider is ready for you and you can enter the salon. Upon entering we will be taking your temperature with our infrared touchless thermometer. We encourage you to arrive wearing a mask. If you do not have one you can purchase one for $5.00 as The Glam Room Salon and Spa will have extras on hand should you need them. Only guests with appointments will be allowed in the salon due to having extra people in the salon compromises everyone. Appointments not canceled within 48 hours are subject to a 50% charge of your service.

We are thrilled to see you again. Your health and safety is our number one concern, although we cannot shake hands or give you a hug now, just know that your presence is the best hug ever. We look forward to serving you soon.
